EUSR PLUS Training
The EUSR PLUS scheme is a type of plant training specifically aimed at plant operatives working on utilities contracts. Typically this consists of operatives on smaller plant machinery, such as ‘mini-diggers’ that are less than 5T in weight.
EUSR = Energy Utility Skills Register & PLUS = Plant For Utilities Scheme.
In the context of EUSR PLUS; EUSR themselves define plant machinery as:
“A piece of equipment requring trained and competent operators which is used for the construction or maintenance of utility assets, transport and management of waste, or processing with the gas, power, waste and water industries.”

Benefits of EUSR
EUSR PLUS is run at our training centre to a set of standards defined by EUSR. This ensures the quality of training provision through EUSR’s own Recognition of Learning Programmes (RLP) and the EUSR Quality Standard for Training Provision. This ensures that training provided is fit for purpose.
Registration is another appealing aspect of the scheme. Mandatory registration of individuals who have completed PLUS training and assessment provides all the same benefits normally associated with EUSR registration.
Information is able to be verified online on the EUSR register. This is a tool available 24/7 on their website and helps to combat forgery and issues surrounding lost or stolen cards.
