NRSWA Streetworks with Industrial Training Services
Industrial Training Services courses provide a sound foundation and understanding to meet the requirements of the New Roads and Streetworks Act (NRSWA).
Courses are made up of a number of units and qualifications covering the work activities involved in Streetworks.
Whether operatives are setting up traffic lights and signs or excavating and reinstating in the highway, an appropriate training certificate is required for one person working in every gang involved in Streetworks.
Q: Who attends an NRSWA Streetworks course?
Q: Is ITS accredited?
Please note that there are only 2 standalone unit qualifications, which are unit 2 or 10 (signing, lighting and guarding).
All other Streetworks qualifications require a minimum of three Streetworks training units to have been achieved to be eligible for the Streetworks (NRSWA) SWQR trained operative/ supervisor Card.
Is your Streetworks reassessment due?
(SWQR) Streetworks cards are valid for 5 years. After this time, candidates must sit reassessment examinations. Industrial Training Services offer a 2-day reassessment package for candidates wishing to renew their Streetworks card.
This is operated as an open-course and details can be found by clicking the button below.
The Streetworks SWQR card must be renewed and applied for no more than 4 months after the expiry date of the Streetworks card.
Plan ahead!
