More flexible than anyone that you’ve worked with before!

On the rare occasion where there is a demand for hired plant machinery for 180 digger training – we only use a select group of plant hire companies to access additional machinery. This enables us to pass on the best prices to the customer.

Who needs/takes digger training in London?
Legality
A level of basic digger training meets HSE recommendations
Under PUWER; operatives that use plant machinery (including diggers) must receive training in the safe use of the equipment that they are using. This training should cover at least the basic operation of the machine and loading operations.
Our digger training courses cover:
Health and Safety At Work Act 1974
(PUWER) Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations
(LOLER) Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations
We also offer CPCS digger study notes which provide support to candidates about to take CPCS digger tests on our eBay store and over the phone by card payment. These notes have received fantastic feedback online and have helped thousands pass their CPCS digger training/test first time.

Q: Are CPCS digger training courses right for me?
CPCS training courses are a great way to quickly get your red digger CPCS card.
We train novices courses at our centre in Essex, as well as semi-experienced candidates requiring further training before taking the tests for a red digger CPCS card. Our CPCS training courses are designed as a ‘fast-track’ path to gaining a digger CPCS trained operative card (red card). CPCS digger training courses work well by splitting the costs incurred between a numbers of delegates on the course. Courses are structured to maximise time on the machine, and digger testing takes place on the last day.
CPCS Training: A Group Effort
Our instructors work with candidates to ensure they are keeping up with the normal course progression expected from a digger CPCS training course. We go that extra mile to ensure that digger CPCS training courses are as productive as possible. We promote a positive training atmosphere and continually monitor the progress of each delegate on our digger CPCS training courses. This means we achieve exceptional first time pass results.
NPORS Digger Training London
(National plant Operator Registration Scheme)
NPORS is an alternative to the CPCS scheme. It offers accredited training much like CPCS, and offers registration and verification – much in the same way that CPCS does. NPORS is fast becoming one of the most recognised accredited training schemes in the United Kingdom.
Some companies actually prefer NPORS to CPCS training and testing as NPORS arguably offers more flexibility. NPORS still ensures compliance with strict standards in the same way as CPCS. NPORS offers sigrnifant cost savings over CPCS because training and testing can be carried out in London.
Venues
The main benefit of NPORS is the flexibility in venues. NPORS digger training and experienced worker assessments can take place on-site in London and surrounding areas and don’t have to take place at a test centre. However, we can still offer training and assessment at our venue in Billericay on the following plant machinery:
• 360 Excavator
• Telescopic Handler
• Ride on Roller
• Slinger/signaller
• Forward Tipping Dumper
• Lorry Loader
NPORS vs CPCS
Both CPCS and NPORS digger training have pros and cons. The main benefit of CPCS digger training is that it is so widely recognised. The majority of construction sites in the United Kingdom will accept CPCS certificate as a form of accredited training on construction plant machinery. The main con of CPCS digger training is that it can work out costly and time consuming.
NPORS digger training is a cost effective alternative to CPCS testing. It is also arguably more flexible than CPCS as training can be done on-site around London, instead of being restricted to a CPCS/NPORS training/test centre.
Companies considering NPORS will also need to factor in the prospect of it not being acceptable on some sites that they are currently working on or are due to work in the future.
